Why is the ascension of Jesus such good news for us?
Read Daniel 7:13-14 which makes clear that all nations will serve Jesus and his kingdom will never end . How should the certainty of Jesus’s kingdom transform the way we about our lives and especially our evangelism?
Are there any ways you feel convicted of being stagnant (like the disciples who are left starting up and not moving in Acts 1:11) despite the Lord's ascension?
The great Rabbi Duncan one said that, at the ascension, “the dust of the earth is on the throne of the Majesty on high.” In other words, Jesus has permanently taken his humanity to the throne. What does this mean for us?
Romans 8:34 tells us that “Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” How do you feel knowing that Jesus is praying for you – even right now – and that He will never, ever stop?
